has been a while!

Hello my dear followers (if left any)
New season came up with lots of new thing in my life/profession, such as graduation, new job, moving from Stockholm to Göteborg, and now working for the NKS- New Karolinska University hospital, with a large group of architects and engineers (consultants, contractors, clients...)

It was a great leap from being a student, developing a project on my own, and now working on a tremendous scale building, with around 200 hundred of people. And I get to the project from the application level, after concept was developed, but still there are many things to learn until building will be open to public use! (and of course, I believe there will be more to learn "after" the building is being used for some years.. post occupancy always lights the way to new designs!)

But I didn't turn my back to neuro-architecture. That's why I will keep on writing this blog because I have more to share...

Have I mentioned that I met Kristina Sahlqvist from HDK, after my thesis- which was a misfortune to meet her so late- a spirit working, thinking of the same things, that I worked with all throughout my thesis. She is an architect, mostly working with interior design, and industrial design as well. White teaching at school, and being involved with healthcare research projects, she also runs Design For Us with Pamela. ( Now I remember, I have given the link before. )

We were really very eager to build up a platform to spread the knowledge and work on research projects. Meanwhile came the offer from Michael Nilsson, head of Neurology department of Sahlgrenska University Hospital, that I should work with the upcoming project with them! It is about re-designing the intensive care units in the department.

It was a misfortune to leave Göteborg for the job I got the same week, but we all agreed that I can still keep up the project, working hourly on the project from long distance.
And we are hoping this will be a working long distance project, and so far it is going good as I think.
