inception, neuroscience and brain landscape


Dreams: “associations and memories thrown out on the desktop of our minds”

Probably, you have seen the movie of Christopher Nolan, Inception. As original as subject, it was almost as informative about perception and brain landscape. How images, places, are appearing in our dreams how we are connected and so on... I have been searching to hear what neurologists and architects tell about the movie,

Östra Sjukhuset psychiatry clinic in Göteborg, is designed by White Arkitekter, and opened in 2006. It doesn't give the classic image of a clinic, and also as mentioned in White.se, the healing environment was thought to be important for s healing process, so they thought about working on a pleasant design from patient's view. I have known quite a while about Christina Danielsson. Her name alwyas came up when I was digging into neuroarchitecture network in Sweden. She often works at detailed research about work place design, discussing pros and cons about activity based offices.
