Introduction to the project, abstract
When the people are the core of a subject, there are many departments working for the similar aim from different paths. Architecture and neuroscience were two disparate disciplines until it was found that brain was continuously remodeled by the environments we are living in. Their relation can have more contribution on spaces for brain injuries. With the information provided by neuroscientists, it is possible to design facilities that becomes a part of the treatments and affects positively to the mental condition of the children. While more efficient treatment methods are developed by psychiatrists; new design methods are developed by architects for rehabilitation and healthcare centers, to help better and quicker results for the patients.
