Me!

I am an architect, got master degree from Chalmers (Gothenburg) in MSc Architecture program.In my thesis I got to learn neuro-architecture which tempted my interest on how architecture actually effects us. After working on application project of a new hospital complex (Nya Karolinska Solna) in Stockholm, I kept on working with schools and housing Schools were quite interesting to think of neuroarchitecture.  I hope I will have more challanges in that.
I started this blog with my thesis, and then for the half-time research project. I was in team to design a ICU unit,  connected to Gothenburg, but due to residing in different cities I needed to cut back on that.


While I deepened into healthcare, user scale got my attention more. What differs in healthcare is, here users come because they have to, and it is not a pleasant visit / stay, since they are not healthy. I began to investigate more, not only literature, but visiting the hospitals, talking with doctors, therapists, observing the patients and visitors by myself. In conclusion the new skill I gained from my master degree is how to cooperate with end user. 

My aim is to implement this approach as a methodology to any design project, expanding my view of architecture from impression to feasible use.

Östra Sjukhuset psychiatry clinic in Göteborg, is designed by White Arkitekter, and opened in 2006. the thesis passed!

I know I haven't been writing for almost a month now, the reason was that I was busy with presentation of my thesis, finalizing the report etc... And so you will soon access to more information on final report fromt this page I will update soon. So if you are following this blog, and if you are in Sweden, and in Göteborg in the week of 23-17 May (vecka 21) you can come and see the master thesis presentations of Chalmers Architecture, and you are very welcome to my presentation which is on : 24 May, 14:00 in A-salen  Architecture building (A building, Floor -1, just follow the arrows, the big conference room) I am hoping to present it better as I have been presenting the project on various places, offices, and hospital..
